The Ides of March

- It includes the main characters names at the top

- Basic font which is in either white to stand out or red to connote evil (plenty of letters in capitals)

- Contains a caption to intrigue the viewer to investigate the film

- Font under the title (which is the largest font except ME) contains other details such as further names and the company

- The date of the release stands out

- Picture of the main character(s) - one looks innocent while the other looks threatening to promote the idea that it is a thriller

- No dark colours making the likelihood of the movie to be less dark and more realistic in the fact that the it is a daily occurrence

What They Say

- Red writing to stand out and connote danger, evil and such - all in capitals

- Captions and title the largest font to interest the viewer by suggesting the basic idea what the movie is about

- Smaller font contains details such as actors which may interest some people and make it more professional (but small as it is not the main focus)

- White bath contrasts with the red which may promote innocence and that this is possibly realistic in some aspects by it including everyday items

- The girl is the main focus and may intrigue the audience to watch the film to answer why is she behaving so - she is grinning manically and with her dark hair may promote evil

- Blood is in the bath and hands/arms making it likely that the film will include plenty which may interest plenty of people

- The second caption suggests that this may be a psychological thriller which people can relate to if they know someone suffering any mental capabilities. It interests the viewer as its a question which will only be answered if they watch the film

Update of Short Film; Twenty Nine

Today I started looking at thriller based film posters to analyse and eventually found two that appear to my interest. During the search I was discussing with my partner some ideas we could use for our own which were inspired by some of the ready existing posters. For instance, two faces split in half but joined together to represent two people together.

Update of Short Film; Twenty Eight

We added the gig of Seven Days but we first added other scenes of them before the titles appearance. However, after watching it after being edited we thought that the audience would be confused when watching it in regards are they memories or currently occuring. We also made the gig 'ripple' at the beginning and end to make it seem more of a memory instead of our intended plan of it occurring.

Update of Short Film; Twenty Seven

Today we finished the scenes of the car scene. This means that we have nearly finished the process of editing our movie and would later need to put the music onto our piece. We are still undecided what song should be in at as well as 'Voices' however.

Today we finished the editing of the running scene and everything that contains Hannah only in each of the shots. Another thing is that we also added the credits towards the end but before the shot where the hand falls out of the cupboard.

We still need to finish the remainder of the car scene and add Seven Days.

Update of Short Film; Twenty Five

Today we continued our editing process and included some of the shots for the Ireland scene. For instance, the plane shots and on the way to (and in) Dublin Airport. We also finished the editing of the shots inside the house.

Another point, is that due to iMovie not having the chiller font and the transition speed being to fast, we will use Windows Movie Maker for the credits.

Lastly, we discussed what music we are going to use briefly and are unsure what to use for the running scene and the shots inside the protagonists house.

Update of Short Film; Twenty Four

Today we discussed what scenes we would have to reshoot and decided that a few we were originally going to do is not necessary for instance the taxi driver. Most of the shots we were most concerned about we can then crop during editing. In fact we will not do any further filming as we could change some shots on our storyboard. For instance, instead of Hannah getting up, showing me running to give the audience the understanding when they next see Hannah (running) that it was enough time for her to get up.

Also, we started doing more editing, mainly in the car scene.
